Upcoming events at Uptown Valet & Transportation

It's starting to feel like autumn in Austin and that means the fall wedding and event season is upon us. October is probably only behind May as the busiest wedding month in Austin, and we'll be working every weekend providing valet services, getaway limos for the bride and grooom, shuttle coordination and more at some of the nicest wedding venues in Austin. We worked this past weekend at Laguna Gloria and the evening weather was lovely, and there's only going to be more of that on the way.

The Austin City Limits Music Festival will occur from October 12-14 and will feature a lineup of some of the best artists in the country. While some of our employees will no doubt be enjoying the music, we will be able to handle most any request that comes our way. If you're coming into town and need a ride from the airport, we can help you out. If you've got a party going on that weekend (ACL-related and otherwise) and need valets to manage your guest cars, let us know.

Circuit of the Americas will bring Formula One racing to Austin and we are going to see all of our services booked up for that weekend.  We've been renting out our limousines and luxury cars for months now and getting some valet and shuttle work as well. Black Stretch Limo

Another vehicle in Uptown Valet and Transportation's stable is a black Lincoln Town Car Stretch Limo. Seating 8-10 people, our black limo is a classy and comfortable option for any of your transportation needs. Our chauffeurs ensure that our vehicles are looking as nice as possible prior to picking you up. Our limos come with ice and water bottles, a champagne bucket, a privacy divider, a TV, iPod input, DVD and CD player as well as interior lighting and all the air conditioning needed to stave off the Texas heat.  Whether it's a trip to the airport, a night on the town or a wedding, we do everything we can to ensure our customers are left fully satisfied with our service.

Valet and chauffeur work at Chappel Lodge

Recently, Uptown Valet did an afternoon of work at The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge, a lovely event venue in south Austin which in this case was the location of a wedding ceremony. A popular location for outdoor weddings, they have an area to the side of the venue that is perfect for ceremonies and which has an excellent natural aesthetic. The lodge nearby is often used for receptions afterwards but in this case the couple were having the wedding at Chappel Lodge and the reception at The Driskill Hotel. The parking lot is a bit of a walk away from the lodge and our previous work there had been transporting guests from the parking lot to the lodge in a golf cart or doing shuttle management, but this time we were doing valet work. The road leading up to the lodge is a single lane, so to not impede traffic, we sent most cars around a longer road which accessed the parking lot from the rear. We rented a golf cart for the event to shuttle our valets to and from the parking lot so that they could stay fresh and so that customers’ cars could return to them sooner. Cars were delivered to the guests as quick as possible, and though everyone left at the same time and we got a bit backed up no one had to wait too long for their car.

Beyond the valet services, Uptown Valet managed the rest of the transportation for the wedding. Uptown Valet Honeymoon Getaway!The bridesmaids and groomsmen were both brought to the wedding in separate limousines and the bridesmaids left in a limousine and we also had our Cadillac Escalade at the close of the ceremony for transportation to the Driskill. To top it all, we rented an antique for the newlywed couple to ensure that they arrived at their reception in class and style.

It was a good event at Chappel Lodge and we are always happy to be able to play in integral part it someone’s wedding and to do our best to make their day as special as possible. As well, since they used multiple of our transportations services, they were the first couple eligible for theUptown Valet Free Honeymoon Getaway

White Stretch Limo

Uptown Valet has a white Lincoln Town Car stretch limousine available for rental. It is comfortable and stylish and perfect for weddings and bridesmaids parties and can seat up to 10 people.
