Uptown Valet and Transportation had our busiest weekend ever with the Formula One races in Austin back in November. We had a host of parties to valet at, our chauffeurs working round the clock and official Circuit of the Americas shuttles to drive and manage.
We started back in August, with the Circuit of the Americas Shift into Style Austin Fashion Week kick-off. A busy event at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, it was an exciting night and an excellent combination of events, as Circuit of the Americans and Austin Fashion Week both know how to put on a show.
The weekend of the races, we had valet attendants at multiple parties Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. We parked more cars in that time than probably any three day period, with venues ranging from southeast Austin near the track, to downtown, to out closer to Johnson City where we parked cars for a party sponsored by Ferrari. We also had shuttles wrapped with Circuit of the Americas branding in service throughout the weekend in addition to our chauffeurs working in all our cars as well as some that we made use of just for the weekend. We closed out the weekend by returning to the Bob Bullock Museum, managing parking for the Circuit of the Americas Official After Party.
It was a busy weekend that we were happy to have gotten through well. Our staff and the people we worked with all weekend long were fantastic, and we look forward to working on Circuit of the Americas F1 events in Austin in 2013.

Uptown Valet and Transportation was honored to provide our valet services for the recent State Dinner Gala at the LBJ Presidential Library and Museum, held on December 1st. Check out the write-up on it from the official site here. We parked 120+ cars that night and were busy throughout the evening, thus starting out December with one of our largest events of the month. The Library was celebrating their grand reopening complete with a newly renovated main exhibit which was on display for attendees and opened to the public on December 22nd. The LBj Library is Located on the University of Texas campus, and is definitely something everyone here in Austin as well as visitors from out-of-town should make a trip to in 2013.
